Terms, payments and refunds

Race Shape is a product of SEOPEAKS. Building a plan is free; a once-off payment through PayFast unlocks the whole plan for a set period, and shows as SEOPEAKS on your card statement. These terms cover what that payment buys, how it is delivered, and when it is refunded.

01 · Description of services

Race Shape is an online service that generates endurance training plans for running, cycling, swimming and triathlon from information the athlete provides. Race Shape is a product of SEOPEAKS, operated by Ian Naude, trading as SEOPEAKS. Plans are generated by software from published training models; they are general guidance and not medical advice, coaching, or an assessment of any individual's health.

02 · What a payment buys

Building a plan and viewing its first week is free. A once-off payment unlocks every week of a plan, the PDF and the calendar file, for a set period of access: 3 months: R150, for 3 months of access to plans up to 13 weeks; 6 months: R270, for 6 months of access to plans up to 26 weeks; 12 months: R450, for 12 months of access to plans up to 52 weeks. The price shown for a plan is the one that covers its length. Buying again extends access from the later of the payment date or the current end date. It is not a subscription and nothing renews automatically.

03 · Delivery policy

Race Shape is a digital service. Access is delivered to the athlete's account as soon as PayFast confirms the payment, normally within a minute. Nothing is shipped. If access has not unlocked within an hour of a successful payment, email ian@seopeaks.com.

04 · Export restriction

The service is offered from South Africa and priced in South African rand for athletes in South Africa.

05 · Returns and refunds policy

Because access is delivered immediately and the plan can be downloaded, payments are generally non-refundable once the plan has been unlocked. If a payment was taken and access did not unlock, or the service could not be provided because of a fault on our side, the payment will be refunded in full within 30 days of the request. Requests go to ian@seopeaks.com. Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act.

06 · Customer privacy policy

Ian Naude, trading as SEOPEAKS takes all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. How personal information is collected, used and protected is set out in the privacy notice.

07 · Payment options accepted

Payment may be made by Visa, Mastercard, Diners Club or American Express card, and by other methods PayFast offers at checkout. All payments are processed through PayFast.

08 · Card payment processing

Card transactions are acquired for Ian Naude, trading as SEOPEAKS through PayFast, the approved payment gateway for South African acquiring banks. The payment appears on your card statement as SEOPEAKS. PayFast uses strong encryption and card data is handled in line with PCI DSS. More about PayFast: payfast.io/security.

09 · Customer details separate from card details

Card details are entered on PayFast's pages and are never seen, received or stored by Race Shape. We store only the payment reference, amount and status that PayFast reports back.

10 · Merchant outlet country and transaction currency

The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options is South Africa. The transaction currency is South African rand (ZAR).

11 · Responsibility

Ian Naude, trading as SEOPEAKS takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction, including sale of the service, delivery, refunds and support. Training carries risk. Plans are general guidance generated from published models and the information you supply; you are responsible for training within your own health and ability, and for seeking medical advice where appropriate. Race Shape cannot assess an injury or a medical condition.

12 · Country of domicile

This website is governed by the laws of South Africa, and Ian Naude, trading as SEOPEAKS chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement the address below.

13 · Variation

These terms may be amended at any time. Amendments do not affect access already paid for.

14 · Company information and contact
